Diagnostic Imaging

Radiology & Medical Imaging

Modern diagnostic imaging services operated by certified radiologic technologists and interpreted by specialist consultant radiologists.

Clinical Diagnostic Modalities

Our Department of Radiology provides high-resolution diagnostic imaging for emergency trauma, outpatient evaluations, and inpatient monitoring. Digital image acquisition reduces radiation exposure and ensures rapid electronic transmission to consultant review stations.

Imaging Services Offered

Digital Radiography (X-Ray)

High-definition chest, abdominal, orthopedic, and specialized contrast examinations with minimal radiation dosage.

Computed Tomography (CT Scan)

Multi-slice CT imaging for brain trauma, chest angiography, abdominal pathology, and oncological staging.

Diagnostic Ultrasound & Color Doppler

Abdominal, pelvic, obstetric anomaly scans, vascular Doppler, thyroid, and musculoskeletal ultrasonography.

Echocardiography (Echo)

Transthoracic echocardiography (TTE) evaluating cardiac chambers, myocardial function, and heart valves.

Patient Preparation Guidelines

  • Pelvic Ultrasound: Requires a full urinary bladder. Please drink 4–6 glasses of water 1 hour prior to your appointment.
  • Contrast CT Scans: 4–6 hours fasting required. A recent serum creatinine test report is mandatory before administering intravenous contrast.
  • Pregnancy Safety: Female patients who are pregnant or suspect pregnancy must notify the radiology technician before any X-Ray or CT scan.
